I find baking to be a healing experience on many levels as it enables me to incorporate all things that make the heart smile.

Growing up I can vividly remember the delicious scent of sweet chocolate treats wafting through the airwaves of our home. Fresh-baked goodies mostly made from scratch and always baked from the heart. Yes, this was Mom's special way of expressing her love for our family.

Having a deep affection for all things organic, particularly handmade sweets, I decided to explore the world of baking by enrolling in courses prominent in the field of food and well-being with decadent treats being no exception!

Prior to my baking journey, I was a woman on the go with little time to spare. Yet, Mom always insisted on showering my kitchen with her "tools of the trade.”

From electric mixers and measuring cups to her most prized recipes, she was always excited to share.

While baking for family and friends one day, I suddenly had my light bulb moment. As I looked around my home, filled with smiles and good cheer, it became quite clear that all of the treasured "gadgets" given to me by Mom were simply her way of trying to introduce her love of baking into my life.

And with profound gratitude, I now understand.

Baking is all about caring, nurturing, sharing, and most importantly, it is about love.

I soon found myself baking regularly for family and friends sending heartfelt wishes in the form of very special organic biscotti, using only premium artisan ingredients as the foundation.

Sweet treats nestled cozily in beautiful packaging created a chain reaction of sheer bliss!

Suddenly, there were rave reviews with excitement, delight, and a desire for more.

As a result of the enthusiasm, I decided to give our special organic biscotti a name it could live up to.... and so "The Ultimate Biscotti" was born.

In celebrating the happy event, I felt it was time to form a very special baking company offering delicious, all-natural and organic handmade biscotti that would not only satisfy ones taste buds, but would be just as good for the soul.

In choosing our company name, it was only fitting to use "Pure Treasure Baking Company" as it combines the principles of our baking ethics with an homage to a truly inspirational woman I was lucky enough to call Mom.

Pure Treasure Baking Company was developed in honor of my Mom; affectionately known as Rosie.

"Pure" represents all that our baking is about; all-natural and organic, free of impurities, no additives or preservatives, and always baked with pure love.

"Treasure" is what her memory is to me as she was the ultimate inspiration in my passion to bake, encouraging our philosophy that baking is love made visible.

In sharing our decadent, unique, and exciting version of this timeless and traditional treat, I hope The Ultimate Biscotti™ by Pure Treasure Baking Company will evoke the same sense of excitement for you, and always put a smile on your face!
